Object Removal

Clear distractions from listing photos.

Remove selected objects from listing photos so buyers focus on the home, not the trash bins, cords, toys, or other clutter that showed up on shoot day.

Available as a photo-enhancement add-on to House Fly listing photography. Serving East Tennessee.

Standard edited photos deliver first. After you send final image numbers and instructions, cleaned images return the next business day.

What is Object Removal?

Object Removal is a digital enhancement that removes selected objects from listing photographs for marketing presentation.

It can clear trash bins, cords, toys, vehicles, temporary clutter, and similar distractions from the frames you choose. It is not a real junk-removal visit, cleaning crew, or on-site declutter.

House Fly applies the treatment after your standard edited gallery delivers, based on the image numbers and instructions you send.

How the process works

Step 1

Book your House Fly photography.

Add Object Removal when you book Photos, Photos + Drone, or Zillow Showcase Media Package.

Step 2

Receive your edited gallery.

Review the finished photography and choose the images that need objects removed.

Step 3

Send your selections and direction.

Provide the image numbers, what to remove, and whether each frame is Basic or Advanced complexity. Note anything that must stay.

Step 4

Receive your cleaned images.

Completed images are delivered by the next business day after final selections and complete instructions are received.

What this adds to your listing

Help buyers focus on the home

Clear temporary clutter and distractions so rooms and exteriors read cleaner in the gallery.

Give sellers a marketing cleanup without a second visit

Fix shoot-day mess in the photos without delaying the listing for another declutter or return shoot.

Give agents a targeted retouch

Order removal only on the frames that need it, after standard edits deliver, at a flat per-image rate for Basic or Advanced work.

When to add Object Removal

Object Removal is especially useful when:

  • Trash bins, cords, toys, personal items, or temporary clutter distract from the space.
  • A vehicle, hose, ladder, or similar item sits in an otherwise strong exterior frame.
  • The home was mostly ready but a few frames still show avoidable distractions.
  • Timing did not allow a full declutter before the photography appointment.
  • You already have House Fly listing photos (or are booking a photography package) and can select specific frames after standard edits deliver.

When it may not be the right fit

You may not need Object Removal when:

  • The photos are already clear of distracting objects.
  • The issue is landscaping, pool water, driveway stains, twilight conversion, or staging instead of object removal.
  • Material property conditions, damage, or defects need to stay visible and disclosed.
  • The request is really a full room redesign (that is Virtual Staging, not object removal).
  • Removal would require inventing large missing architecture or concealing structural problems.

How agents use cleaned images

  • Feature cleaned versions of priority frames in the MLS where permitted.
  • Pair cleaned images with the original photographs for transparency when disclosure is required.
  • Use them in property websites, email campaigns, and social posts.
  • Include them in seller updates and listing presentations.
  • Combine Object Removal with other photo enhancements from the same order when a frame also needs landscaping, pool cleanup, or similar retouches.

What's included

  • Object Removal applied to selected House Fly photographs
  • Basic or Advanced removal based on the complexity of the requested work
  • Client selection of the exact images to enhance
  • Direction based on supplied instructions (what to remove and what to leave)
  • Next-business-day delivery after final selections and complete instructions

Honest presentation matters

Object Removal images are digitally altered. They illustrate how selected photos can present without the named distractions for marketing purposes. Removed items were present at capture unless noted otherwise.

Virtually enhanced images should be clearly disclosed and used in accordance with applicable MLS, brokerage, and advertising requirements. Where required, include the original image alongside the cleaned version.

What's not included

  • Real junk removal, cleaning crews, or on-site declutter
  • A return visit after the property is cleaned
  • Virtual Staging, Digital Landscaping, Pool Cleanup, Driveway Cleanup, or Virtual Twilight (priced separately)
  • Concealment of material property conditions, damage, or defects
  • Enhancement applied before you finalize image selections (standard edits come first)
  • Standalone object removal at these rates without a House Fly photo set to enhance

Other enhancement requests can be quoted separately. If a request is more complex than Advanced, House Fly can quote custom work.
