Fire Inserts

Add a warm fire to empty fireplaces and pits.

Place a realistic digital fire into empty fireplaces, wood stoves, or fire pits in selected photos so rooms and patios feel cozier online, without lighting a real fire for the shoot.

Available as a photo-enhancement add-on to House Fly listing photography. Serving East Tennessee.

Standard edited photos deliver first. After you send final image numbers and instructions, images with fire inserts return the next business day.

What are Fire Inserts?

Fire Inserts are a digital enhancement that places a realistic fire into empty fireplaces, wood stoves, or outdoor fire pits in selected listing photographs.

They help living rooms, dens, and outdoor living spaces feel warmer and more inviting when the hearth or pit sits empty in the frame. They are not a real fire, on-site lighting, staged burn, or equipment included with the property.

House Fly applies the treatment to the frames you choose after your standard edited gallery delivers.

How the process works

Step 1

Book your House Fly photography.

Add Fire Inserts when you book Photos, Photos + Drone, or Zillow Showcase Media Package.

Step 2

Receive your edited gallery.

Review the finished photography and choose the frames where an empty fireplace, stove, or fire pit needs a warm fire look.

Step 3

Send your selections and direction.

Provide the image numbers, which hearths or pits to treat, and any preference for a soft glow vs a fuller fire.

Step 4

Receive your updated images.

Completed images are delivered by the next business day after final selections and complete instructions are received.

What this adds to your listing

Help buyers feel the warmth of the room

Add fire to empty hearths so living spaces and outdoor pits read cozier and more lived-in in the gallery.

Give sellers a simple mood upgrade without a reshoot

Improve empty fireplace or pit shots from the same photography appointment, without lighting a real fire on site.

Give agents a low-cost amenity polish

Highlight a fireplace or fire pit feature with a $10-per-image insert after standard edits deliver.

When to add Fire Inserts

Fire Inserts are especially useful when:

  • A fireplace, wood stove, or fire pit is a listing feature but sits empty or dark in the photos.
  • You want a warmer, more inviting mood without lighting a real fire during the shoot.
  • Outdoor living photos would benefit from a lit pit after dark or in cooler seasons.
  • You already have House Fly listing photos (or are booking a photography package) and can select specific frames after standard edits deliver.

When it may not be the right fit

You may not need Fire Inserts when:

  • The fire was already lit and photographed on site.
  • There is no fireplace, stove, or fire pit in the photos.
  • The hearth needs object removal, Virtual Staging, or another enhancement instead of a fire insert.
  • You need video of a real fire or a return visit for dusk photography (ask House Fly; that is outside this insert).
  • Material property conditions around the hearth need real cleanup first.

How agents use images with fire inserts

  • Feature updated versions of priority interior or outdoor frames in the MLS where permitted.
  • Pair updated images with the original photographs for transparency when disclosure is required.
  • Use them in property websites, email campaigns, and social posts.
  • Include them in seller updates and listing presentations.
  • Combine Fire Inserts with other photo enhancements from the same order when a frame also needs object removal, staging, twilight, or similar retouches.

What's included

  • Fire Inserts applied to selected House Fly photographs
  • Digital fire placed in empty fireplaces, wood stoves, or fire pits in chosen frames
  • Client selection of the exact images and hearths or pits to enhance
  • Direction based on supplied instructions
  • Next-business-day delivery after final selections and complete instructions

Honest presentation matters

Fire Insert images are digitally altered. The fire shown is added for marketing presentation and was not burning at capture unless a real fire was already present. Digital fire is not equipment, fuel, or a usable feature guarantee included with the property.

Virtually enhanced images should be clearly disclosed and used in accordance with applicable MLS, brokerage, and advertising requirements. Where required, include the original image alongside the updated version.

What's not included

  • Lighting a real fire on site or a return visit for dusk/fire photography
  • Fireplace cleaning, gas conversion, chimney work, or physical staging of wood
  • Video of a real fire or cinematic fire sequences (ask for a custom quote)
  • Virtual Staging, Object Removal, Virtual Twilight, TV Screen Inserts, or other photo enhancements (priced separately)
  • Enhancement applied before you finalize image selections (standard edits come first)
  • Standalone fire inserts at these rates without a House Fly photo set to enhance

Other enhancement requests can be quoted separately.
